Linux Surpasses Windows in PC Market Share

Windows 98 that is.
The entire Linux collective family has finally taken the lead (#5), which is like saying generations of some mob family has finally beaten your great grandmother (who you know doesn’t have much longer to live, but keeps sticking around for another day) after 9 years in a race.
Next up is Vista (#4) and Mac OS X (#3)

I have fedora 7 Installed on my laptop and it’s very nice and very performant. It has all the eye candy of vista but without all the sluggish performance that Vista is known for. Interesting post..

You must be using KDE?
I can’t remember the last time I seriously played around with any flavours of linux, but I do know that it was before Mandrake changed their name, and before Ubuntu was out.
As for sluggish performance on Vista, thats the one problem I haven’t experienced yet on here.
